Andrej TVRDON once again showed an excellent moment in the prestigious Golden Belt tournament, in the Serbian city of Cacak in its 59th edition.

His journey in the competition began with a first free round, then 3 – 2 victory over Urhagen (SWE). In the quarterfinals, in an excellent fight full of good decision-making and a high level of accuracy, TVRDON won Dujakovic (BIH), the recent Konya 2022 world medalist, 6-0. In the semifinal the experienced Joksic (SRB) took advantage with a kizami to keep the score until the end and reach the final in front of his audience. TVRDON would win a well-deserved Bronze medal, in the dispute of the small final after a score of 1-0 against Tomljanovic (CRO).

On the other hand Julia PICHLER after falling 0-2 against Rahmanovic (BIH) could not progress in the competition in her first experience in the Golden Belt.
