With excellent organization, great attention to detail, the Polish Open celebrated its 17th edition with 31 countries and 1.997 athletes.
Bettina PLANK, -50kg, added a new medal by reaching the podium with the bronze, with results 2-1 (UKR) 1-0 (POL) and 2-3 (SCO) she reached the fight for the BRONZE medal that she solved with a clear 8-0 (POL). Beyond the medal achieved, the rhythm of the competition and doing (4) fights with good performance and good feelings leave everything ready two weeks from the Buapest 2023 World Championship.
Lora ZILLER 68+kg, consolidated the good feelings she left in Series A Larnaca, security, correct decision making and a good number of points left her at the gates of the fight for the medals, with results of 4-3 (NED) and 2-3 (POL).
Lejla TOPALOVIC -61kg, who was about to achieve 2 x bronze medals in Budapest and Croatia, could not progress in the competition after a strong contact on the face.
